Private experiences. Lasting impressions.
01 / The Experience
Every J5 gathering is designed as a complete sensory experience: the plate, the room, the people, and the energy all working together.
You don’t simply arrive, eat, and leave. You slow down, discover something unexpected, and share a table worth remembering.
Purposeful plates, prepared with care and presented with intention.
A setting that makes you feel the occasion before the first bite.
An intimate table where conversation becomes part of the menu.
“The best meals don’t end at the last course. They become stories.”
The J5 Philosophy02 / The Origin
Rivalry becomes brotherhood
J5 began with a heated debate over the New Orleans Saints’ Super Bowl victory, the Atlanta Falcons’ epic collapse, and the infamous 28-3 debacle. Chef James Usher is an Atlanta native. Karama Sadaka is a New Orleans native. The exchange was heated, hilarious, and the beginning of a genuine respect and friendship.
Later, their conversations moved from football to cuisine, art, and business ideas. That same rivalry became creative chemistry, and The J5 Experience was developed. The timing feels perfect as the Saints and Falcons renew their rivalry once again this season.
Atlanta / Chef James Usher
Atlanta brings discipline, modern precision, boldness, resilience, and forward motion. Chef James is the architect of the plate, building flavor with purpose and giving every course structure.
New Orleans / Karama Sadaka
New Orleans brings soul, rhythm, ritual, resilience, and storytelling. Karama curates the atmosphere, language, art, and emotional flow so the gathering becomes a living story, not simply a meal.
Atlanta brings the edge. New Orleans brings the poetry. That tension shapes the room, the conversation, and a menu where Southern soul meets Creole flavor, Cajun heat, smoke, sweetness, and imagination.
Together, James and Karama use food as a language to honor where they come from while creating something neither city would make alone.
04 / Make It Yours
Chef James prepares the food off-site, then warms, plates, and serves it at your location. Karama shapes the artistic direction, storytelling, spoken word, decor, and emotional flow of the experience. Each J5 Experience is designed to last approximately two hours.
